To celebrate the company's 100th anniversary, Mossberg is releasing its Model 500 Persuader model with attractive, wood furniture. This Mossberg Retrograde provides fans of classic, wood-stocked shotguns with a modern-day alternative that's still ready for duty use. Though the stock and corncob forend are all made from walnut wood and the metal features a rich, blued finish, don't let those elements make you think this gun isn't ready for duty use. The Mossberg 500 Persuader Retrograde is still equipped with a solid, cylinder-bore barrel topped with a brass-bead front sight.
