TANGODOWN - ARMORER'S BLOCKS

High-density polymer blocks allow critical subassemblies of the SOF Command Assault Rifle (SCAR) to be tightly clamped in a vise without danger of crushing, twisting, or otherwise distorting them. Provides secure support for safe, effective cleaning, adjustment, maintenance, and repair without marring or scratching the finish. Available as a complete set or separate components. Upper Receiver/Barrel Block surrounds the front sight/gas block to securely hold the barrel module while also protecting the exposed portion of the gas system leaving your upper free to be worked on. Lower Receiver/Trigger Module Block locks into the magazine well and absorbs all the clamping force to protect the SCAR’s polymer lower receiver from damage. One end fits the 5.56x45mm SCAR-L; flip the block around and other end fits the 7.62x51mm SCAR-H. Bolt Maintenance Block gives proper support to disassemble the bolt for cleaning or repair.

The SCAR Armorer’s Block Set (100-003-431) contains the SCAR Lower block (100-003-428) and SCAR Upper blocks (100-003-470) ALONG with the block for bolt disassembly/assembly for bolt cleaning and maintenance. This set is the official SOCOM-issue Armorer’s Block Set for the FNH SCAR MK16 & MK17. All major service procedures for this weapon system can be accomplished easily using the 5 piece set. Allows barrel service, trigger module repair, and bolt disassembly/reassembly for both calibers. Mounts MK13 grenade launcher for inspection and service as well. High grade injection molded nylon prevents marking or marring of weapon. For professional armorer or gunsmith use only.
